Recently bought an AMD INITIA 15" and went through lots of documentation and forums to find a solution for the backlit keyboard control.
As you, fellow linux users may know, backlit keyboards tend to be a problem, but no more with clevo based architechtures.
I could not find any official backlit software support from clevo themselves, but yes from tuxedo. Tuxedo computers are clevo based like pcspecialist computers, therefore, you could use this packages to get the backlit working.
I was not able to get the software panel working, but upon instaling the package and rebooting, the light control keys started working.
You will need to download this repository from tuxedo, and proceed with the instalation.
There is also an AUR package for fellow Arch users.
I figured this out thanks to this post, where there is not only resources provided, but a very simple explanation on how to do it and i encourage all inexperience as well as experienced users to read.
