I recently bought 4 DDR4 Corsair VENGEANCE 3200 MHz 16 GB (1 da 16 GB) memories to amplify the RAM of my 2-years old AMD Ryzen threaddripper 3960x with ASUS prime TRX40-pro S provided with 64GB of Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO DDR4 3200 MHz (4 16GB).
The computer operates with Windows 10 64.

The new memories were bought after consulting and recomendation from PCSPECIALIST spanish personal.

However after being installed, the 4 new memories were not recognized by my computer.
At the BIOS they appeared as N/A.
Any other alternative means, also confirmed that the presently recognized RAM reamins at 64Gb.
The particular programs that require the increased memory still work slowly.

Are those the right type of memories to be added?
Is there any other software requirement or BIOS change, I need to add?
Could you give me any explanation for the failure?

Thank you for your attention
sincerly
julio

It seems your system doesn't recognize the new Corsair VENGEANCE memories. Check compatibility and BIOS settings. Seek technical help for a comprehensive solution.

Thank you Talia!
My computer is still working with the old Corsair VENGEANCE memories up to 64Gb.
The new VENGEANCE memories (the same type than the old ones) remain plug in, but still without been recognized......

Could you be more precise in your kind indications?
For instance, where do I check for compatibility or what kind of BIOS settings do I have to check?
Also where can I find a technical help from a PC specialist?

Thank you again by your advise

Hello Julio,

I understand your concern with the memory upgrade. To check for compatibility, I recommend visiting the Corsair website or contacting customer support for detailed information on compatible memory modules for your motherboard.

Regarding BIOS settings, it's crucial to ensure that the motherboard recognizes the new memory modules. During the computer's startup, you can access BIOS settings by pressing a specific key (usually Del or F2). In BIOS, ensure that the memory settings are correctly configured. However, I recommend caution in making any changes if you're unfamiliar with BIOS settings, as improper changes can affect system stability.

You can contact a PC specialist or a local computer repair shop if you need technical assistance. They can help you install and troubleshoot the new memory modules.

Feel free to ask if you are a student or need help with anything specific, such as "Write my paper for me." I'm here to assist you.

Best regards,
Talia
